If you’re not one of her 1.5 million followers on Twitter, and don’t take much notice of the women’s mags, the name Audrina Patridge probably doesn’t ring a whole lot of bells. Patridge was propelled into fame by a reality show called The Hills – a show in which four 20-something women living in an apartment in Los Angeles partied, went shopping, had boyfriends – you know, all the stuff that young women do, only on a much glitzier scale than most of us.

In previous interviews, Audrina admitted the show was “manipulated”, including having to pretend she hadn’t broken up with her boyfriend for a scene. Now she has her own reality show, Audrina, in which she attempts to put the real back into reality. The show stars her family: outspoken mother Lyn, affable dad Mark, sisters Casey and Sammy, and party boy brother Marky.

How is Audrina structured? Do you have storylines you plan to follow?

We were trying to make it not about storylines. We were trying to make it more real and whatever is going on in my life at that moment, we would just film. Some of it had to be planned because, like, when I went to New York we had to get the whole crew and pay for them to go and plan time-wise. [We filmed] from January to the end of March. I was pretty much filming at least once or twice every day.

How did you cope with all that going on?

I honestly don’t know how I coped. I was just so busy workwise and travelling, and there was some family drama that I was trying to play mediator with. My boyfriend [Australian BMX rider Corey Bohan] and I were going through a rocky time, so there was so much going on at the beginning of the year.

Audrina Patridge works hard for her rockin’ bod, but that doesn’t mean she starves.

“Mexican food is one of my all-time favorite foods,” the reality star, 26, tells me at the Dos Caminos opening inside Harrah’s Atlantic City. “I’m obsessed. I probably eat it three days a week at least. [laughs]”

Not only does she love to eat Mexican dishes, but she’s also a whiz whipping them up in the kitchen.

“I actually love making guacamole and making salsa. I love the quesadillas, I love making taquitos, I love tacos. I love my Mexican food. You can eat a little bit and it fills you up, where it’s not like you eat a whole bunch and you’re still hungry. But you do have to be careful with eating Mexican food, because it does put the calories on. [laughs]”

What’s her secret to being a Mexican food fan as well as a Skinny Minnie?

“You’ve got to balance. You have to work out. You have to be active every day. If you’re going to eat what you want to eat, and eat Mexican food all the time, you have to be active. Otherwise, it’s going to add up, and you’re going to hate it.”

But that’s not the only way she maintains her small figure.

Uh oh Corey Bohan better watch out – he’s not the only smokin’ Aussie to catch Audrina Patridge’s eye!
The reality star has also confessed to having a bit of a thing for Melbourne-born brothers Chris and Liam Hemsworth!
Not that we blame her of course!
During a game of ‘Hot or Not’ with radio show The Hot Hits, the 26-year-old gushed about eldest sibling Chris, best known for his role in ‘Thor,’
“He’s hot…he looks like he could be in Backstreet boys or something.”
And she was even more impressed with his lil bro, and Miley Cyrus’ other-half Liam, adding,
“Hot… nice body, clean cut, very kind of preppy.”
Meanwhile, Audrina could be headed for a whole new load of family drama now that she’s back in LA!
After posing for a set of sexy snaps for clothing label Bongo, the stunning brunette is a little worried that not everyone will approve of her raunchy look…
As the new pics emerged online last week, she told her fans on Twitter,
“Omg, a topless photo of me has surfaced on the web! I hope my dad’s not mad!”
I love Audrina but seriously? Her Bongo ad is nothing compared to the leaked photos from a few years ago!

MTV: Tell us the best and worst thing about working with your nearest and dearest…
Audrina: The best thing about working with my family is that I get to see them on a regular basis and we all get to film together and have fun. And just be around each other, because with all our crazy schedules we don’t always get to come together every week. So with the show we had one day a week where we all had a family dinner and that was really nice.
The bad thing about filming with my family is that we’re not afraid to call each other out and there’s always arguments, people are always getting their feelings hurt and you know just telling each other their opinion of what you’re doing. Its family, there’s no secrets.
MTV: As well as starring in the show you also helped produce it…
Audrina: Yeah I was one of the producers, but I had no part editing or cutting or anything like that, which I kinda wish I did , because I’d love to see it! There is so much footage that we didn’t even use, and they used what they thought would create the season and make it good. But there is just so much [footage] that I wish I was involved more with that. But I did tell them on a regular basis what I was doing everyday or every week what was going on in all of our lives, what we should film, what we shouldn’t, what would be more exciting and what wouldn’t.
MTV: Did you enjoy stepping into that role?
Audrina: I did because if we were to film a reality show about my life I wanted to be involved and kind of have a heads up on what we were filming, and not just thrown into a situation where I was oblivious and didn’t know what was going on because it’s my life and it’s called Audrina so I really wanted to be involved, and I was to an extent.
