Seems like the more time goes by, the more of our Hills questions get answered. This time, Audrina Patridge is the one revealing interesting facts. On the new E! special, Scouted to Stardom, the former reality star claims she wasn’t recieving any paychecks when filming theHills and because of that, she almost quit. Audrina explained, ”The first season that we filmed, I wasn’t really getting paid at all. I would call the producers and tell them, ‘Listen, I don’t know if I can do this anymore. Like I can’t even pay my rent.”

Besides the fact that she couldn’t pay her rent, Audrina admits that Lauren Conrad wasn’t as nice as she seemed on the show. “Lauren wasn’t that friendly,” Audrina revealed. ”I was like, ‘Wow, this girl does not like me. She’s not nice really.’ Maybe ’cause she doesn’t know me.” While the Hills still was airing, questions swirled about whether Audrina and Lauren‘s friendship was real or not, and it seems like saying it was forced is putting it mildly.

As inseparable as they once seemed on TV, their friendship is now long gone. It was clear back then the two girls were giving theHills its highest ratings ever when they were on the same page. Certain gossip was even kept behind the scenes to keep its viewers. Until bloggers got wind of it, that is. Like that one time Lauren supposedly hooked up with Justin Bobby, Audrina’s on-and-off-boyfriend. We watched the friendship survive after sorting the rumor out, but off-camera things were never the same.

Years later, there are no signs their friendship is still alive, either on-camera or off-camera.

After six drama-filled seasons on MTV, The Hills came to an end in July 2010. But according to show alum Audrina Patridge, the cast may reunite for a movie based on the semi-scripted series. “[Hills creator] Adam DiVello did talk about wanting to do a Hills movie, but we were kind of all just so fed up with each other that we all needed a little break,” Patridge, 26, said on Ryan Seacrest’s KIIS-FM radio show. “We’ve all had our break, so maybe we’ll all come back together and do a movie,” Patridge added. “You never know.”

The only hitch? Heroine Lauren Conrad, 25 — who left during the show’s fifth season — told Us Weekly in July that “at this moment,” she had no plans to return to reality TV. Conrad’s one-time BFF Heidi Montag, 24, who currently stars on VH1′s Famous Food, may not be interested in reuniting with her former castmates, either. “We were all getting paid to be people we weren’t for so long that you stop — there’s no line,” Montag’s husband, Spencer Pratt, recently told The Daily Beast. “The gauge is gone. The gray area is gone. We got so deep with how many storylines we had to do to continue the machine.”

“I thought when this was all over, I could get on an interview and say, ‘It was all entertainment,’” Pratt, 27, said. “I thought I was the Wizard of Oz, like, I’m the guy behind the curtain.”

She’s already said that she doesn’t know if Audrina will be renewed for a second season, and now Audrina’s been making noise about getting out of reality tv altogether.

Whilst in Atlantic City this weekend to attend the grand opening of Dos Caminos inside Harrah’s Resort, July 9 and 10, Audrina spoke to E! Online about her next step, saying ”I think I’m ready to move on from reality. I’ve done it for seven years and I want to take a little break, ’cause right after The Hills I went right into Dancing With the Stars, and after that, right into filming my show. I’d love to do a few more movies!”

To be honest, it wasn’t like Audrina received great ratings, so it might be a decision that’s out of her hands.

E! Online also asked Audrina if she knew of any guys to possibly hook up with former BFF and newly single, Lauren Conrad. All Audrina would say was ”No! No!” and then a minder stepped in to say ”No Lauren questions!”

We guess that other than theHills, Lauren and Audrina didn’t really have much in common so it’s not a big surprise the girls grew apart. Lynn Patridge calling Lauren a bitch probably didn’t help either.

One of her ex-co-stars that Audrina does speak willingly of is Kristin Cavallari. Although initially they seemed like enemies on the show, now Audrina has only positive things to say about Kristin, ”She’s originally from Chicago, but then she also seems like a total beach girl,” she dished on what K. Cav’s nuptials might be like. “I think it’s going to be beautiful. She’s a cool girl. She’s a beautiful girl. You know she’s marrying an awesome guy, so it’ll be a great wedding.”

Even still, Audrina isn’t sure of an invitation, saying ”I have no idea. She can either do a very intimate, small [wedding], or she could do it big and invite everyone. So it’s really up to her, you know?”

The stars of The Hills may have moved on to other projects, but now viewers can relive their rise to fame. Beginning March 7, TV Guide Network will air the reality series that launched the careers of Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge, Whitney Port, Heidi Montag and Brody Jenner from the very beginning. Watch as Montag goes from Conrad’s best friend to nemesis, with the Machiavellian assistance of her now-husband Spencer Pratt. The rumors, the backstabbing, the life-altering plastic surgery… The Hills will air two episodes back-to-back each weekday beginning at 5/4c on TV Guide Network.

Join MTV News’ very own Tim Kash as he chats up with the cast from “The Hills” live from the red carpet at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in L.A. where the entire crew is convening to say their final farewells before the show’s series finale kicks off, followed by the show’s live after show where Lauren Conrad (yes that Lauren Conrad) will make an appearance and also say her goodbyes to the show.

On Tuesday’s episode of The Hills, Kristin Cavallari is meeting up with former fling Justin Bobby. But she’s not trying to get him back. In fact, she invites him to a birthday party for Audrina, who he dated in the past. Justin is hesitant about showing up to celebrate with his ex because she’s in a relationship with singer Ryan Cabrera on the show.

“What if Ryan wasn’t in the picture,” Kristin asks, “because it’s not going too well?” Audrina recently told Ryan that she thought their romance was “at a dead end.”

“I’ve got love for Audrina,” Justin says in a clip. “She knows that.”

The Hills airs Tuesday (10 p.m. EST) on MTV, followed by The City.
